Eamon flies to a special fishing location that only a select few have had the pleasure to visit.

• Highly prized by anglers, Barramundi are reputed to be good fighting fish, avoiding fixed nets, they are best caught on lines or fishing lures.
• “Barramundi” comes from the Aboriginal language of the Rockhampton area in Queensland, meaning “large-scaled river fish”.
• Since its introduction, Barramundi is popular in Thai, Goan and Bengali cuisines. It is an iconic table fish as a quintessential Australian brand.
• Barramundi are found inhabiting coastal waters, estuaries, lagoons and rivers, preferring clear to turbid waters in temperatures of 26 – 30 degrees Celsius.
